This Year Will Be Different is a one-stop guide to give you the best start as an entrepreneur in today's modern, online and network-focused age. Essentially a series of interviews with entrepreneurial women from all over the world, operating in a variety of different creative industries, there is plenty of advice and personal experience dished out here. This is intersected with practical, almost step-by-step action items by the author guiding you through the basic steps of setting yourself up as a freelancer, start-up or to just get yourself noticed in your chosen field. This is essential reading for anyone interested in going it alone and making this year and every year very different... and potentially very successful.
Within its pages it uses its Q & A formula to great effect as it relates the tales of each interviewee and their experiences.
I found that with each story I was given the positives and the negatives of breaking into this industry from different parts of the world and different professions. It provided answers to some of the mental roadblocks I had set for myself and to try and move past them.
The blurb on the back of the book states that the book is for and about entrepreneurial women - but don't let that fool you. The advice and guidance found in these pages can prove just as useful to creatives of etheir sex - so male or female its definitely worth a read.
together with a sharp searching and probing intellect. The book is written in a female
perspective, and is very thought provoking to men and woman alike.
Let your MORROW be different too. Just enjoy.
