As a driving instructor I felt the front unit would get in the way of the view of the road from the passenger seat and may annoy the test examiners so I have the rear cam at the front and the front cam at the back.
The fitter was more than happy to accommodate me with this request, despite the fact that it meant he had to extend the cable that runs from the front unit to my fuse box. So I now have both lenses at the dead centre of the screens and am very happy with the results, other than the reflections in the front view from the screen in bright sunlight - but that is an issue no matter what cam you have.
That is resolved now as I have purchased some polarizing filters from France, or at least I hope it has, haven't had strong sunshine to test it in yet!
The only issue with having the front unit in the back is that I cannot use the record button to save anything I want to save whilst on the road.
The alerts won't work of course but I don't need those as my car does all of those and are switched off anyway!
The speed stamp works and perhaps the speed cam data would too but I have not tested that as I really wouldn't want it.
This cam was recommend to me by many other driving instructors and now I am one of those recommending it to others.
If the video I have tried to add here works I should state that the format in which I produced this is not the best and have since found a better way to create such videos. I have also changed the brightness setting on the front unit which is in the back of the car and the rear footage is now as bright as that of the front - though my tinted rear windows.
The 32Gb card that came with my cam only gave me two hours worth of footage with the dual cam set up - the 1 minute clips are 80Mb so be prepared to also purchase one or two Thinkware 64Gb cards or you could attempt to use certain 124Gb cards as these seem to be working for many owners of this cam.
The video shows an unlit road - The greatest challenge for any dashcam. Most dashcams record well in sunny day light especially at 1080P and 30 frames per second (fps).
The F770 kit arrived in a full colour sealed box.

You need to use Wifi and either a smart phone app or a computer to set this up as there is no screen. I had no problems with my phone running Android 6 but you cannot change settings whilst the camera is recording.
Unlike other cameras this is fixed at 1080P and 30fps and cannot be altered. The 16Gb card will fill in about 3 hours using a single camera with sound. Sound off adds about 10% more storage. This records in 1 minute intervals, over writing the oldest.
I tried to use a larger 64Gb SanDisk card but the unit rejected it “memory card error system restarting”. I'd recommend the larger cards and its a pity that third party ones don't seem to work.
Also unlike others, there is no suction mount. This is a semi permanent mount. You use a sticker to stick a mount to your windscreen then use a screw driver or a coin to angle the lens.
Using the cigar plug you cannot use parking mode. I tested with a bench variable power supply and the camera did not shut down at a low voltage of 9.5volts so in permanent mode this could drain your vehicle battery. I contacted UK distributor who stated
The voltage cut-off only begins to work when the camera is in Parking Mode. Parking Mode is triggered when the ignition sense detect that the ignition is off, and the Hardwiring Cable connects to the ignition sense.
This camera has been provided to you with the cigar lighter power cable, which does not enable Parking Mode, so the camera will only continue to record in continuous loop recording, rather than Parking Mode. Because of this, neither the Timer nor the Voltage Detector begins. But in Parking Mode, both begin when the ignition sense detects the ignition is switched off. The camera will stop recording when it detects the voltage reaches a specified voltage, or the timer runs out (whichever triggers first), and you can manually set both of these via the PC Viewer or Mobile App.
The footage is good and slightly better than my present dash cam, a Mobius action cam.
The speed camera alert is very annoying. On a local “mad mile” it warned me of a mobile camera zone every 10 to 20 seconds. The database was up to date though with local cameras that appears a year ago alerted to.
I didn’t try the lane departure warning as roads around here are poorly lined.
I have added some photographs so do have a look.
Had the F750 from here and really loved that camera but unfortunately had to sell it with the old car. Been waiting a while for this new revision which has a better lens for night vision.
Very similar to the F750 but the F770 has a couple of additional features -
1)- It's lighter than the F750
2)- Better lens so captures dark footage better
3)- WIFI speed performs better than the F750
4)- Had a hidden compartment for the cable connectors giving a much cleaner install
5)- Time lapse mode is the only additional feature (and the new lens) over the older F750
This Dashcam is screenless (which I prefer as it makes it less of a target for thieves). Parking surveillance mode is pretty unique provided the unit is hardwired (kit available) allowing the car to be monitored whilst absent. WIFI is great as theres an app available for both Android and iOS, this allows you to change a myriad of options - its highly configurable.
Speed Camera alerts is a God Send too! - really missed this when I switched cars until I got this new unit lol.
