Very thorough and systematic, this book covers an extensive number of topics related to the subject. It is illustrated all the way with examples that ensure total clarity for understanding some of the concepts you may be less familiar with. Highly recommended.
This book encourage students to reflect on the processes of thinking, as well as practising thinkingskills. [[ASIN:0521521491 ThinkingSkills - (Cambridge University Press)]. This book provides very good support for the TSA entrance test. It is divided into two sections: Critical thinking and Problem solving. As well as giving students a thorough grounding in these areas, the book provide opportunities for students to analyse and evaluate arguments, analyse numerical and graphical information and develop a range of skills.

I found it very useful to different ranges of age. Initially I bought two copies to use them in planning the delivery of CIE 9694 thinkingskills. I must admit that I enjoyed reading the book and it was very useful to me. Later I bought 4 copies to my students and they are also enjoying working on it.
