Product Description

Product Description

This makes a great first mental maths game from the educational games experts at Thinkfun!

Roll the 12-sided target die to get your target number, then roll the 6-sided scoring dice. Using addition and/or subtraction, combine the scoring dice to match the target number, moving one space on the scoring track for every scoring die used. The first player to reach the finish line wins.

This is a great fun game to build mental maths and logical skills.

Includes a handy storage bag which is ideal for travel and is recommended for 2-4 players aged 6 and over.

Box Contains

1 Twelve sided die
5 six sided dice
1 scoring track

I bought these dice as a present for a training teacher to use in the classroom. I had expected them to be the size of normal dice, but was pleasantly surprised to find they are larger (about an inch cubed). This will save them being lost in the class like their smaller counterparts, and suitable for sharing in groups of three/four. The dice are plastic and durable, of a good weight. In addition there is a handy felt bag to store the dice. I like the fact a dodecahedral dice is included as this can be used to help students learn about different polyhedra and provides another level of extension.

Great way to learn the simple counting of the dots on a dice as well as learning how to advance maths skills. it's learning with colour and fun, so it doesn't feel like learning. Both 7 & 4 year old can use and enjoy the dice.

This arrived well within the estimated dates, well packaged & reasonably priced. The grandchildren love it & don't realise they are learning maths. :-) I would have no hesitation in recommending this to every one. Good product.

Nice little game which is helping my 5 year old granddaughter with her maths. I like the way you can make it harder by using subtraction when they have mastered addition or even division/multiplication! The possibilities are endless as they say!!! Good price for a simple little game and I have gone on to buy again to give as a birthday present. Highly recommended both by me and our little maths genius!!!

This is an excellent game and really made adults as well as children think hard. I bought this for our 9 and 7 year old grandsons as a small extra at Christmas and all the family including me played it on boxing day. Only disappointing part is scoring mat but that can easily be replicated onto a more substantial board. A snakes and ladders board could even be used adding a different twist to the game. I am going to purchase another game to keep here for when the grandchildren visit us. This is so much better than them sitting playing on their tablets etc!!!!!.

I bought this to play with my children, they all enjoy the simple but effective game, it challenges their maths skills and really makes them think about the different ways to reach a number, we play it so they move the number of spaces to the number of ways they find... Very devious of mummy! I'd recommend the game for 5-8 year olds or anyone wanting to improve their mental maths
