A similar game to Rush Hour - requires logical problem solving, just the kind of thing my boy loves. He's played with it every day since Xmas (2 weeks and counting) and has reached puzzle 31 of 40.
My only criticism would be - what happens after puzzle 40? I haven't looked online yet but there needs to be a manufacturer website with further puzzles. Maybe this exists, I'll update if I find one!
Meanwhile, this is being enjoyed daily so hurray for that!

Easy to set up and understand and the challenges are graded for difficulty. My son enjoys playing this and my mum wants me to buy it for my dad

HASH(0x985790e4) out of 5 stars Great game for kids and adults alike 5 April 2012
By LoveThisGame - Published on Amazon.com
I do not get easily excited by many of the new games that come out. Too often, they depend on a factor of luck (e.g. rolling dice) or are repeats of other games.

However, I have been impressed with Turnstile. It uses a game concept not seen before, that of moving pieces through a maze of turnstiles to reach a destination. It is a game that requires strategic thinking and spatial reasoning. Best of all, the game is really fun to play!

We picked one up recently from ThinkFun. Since then, it has become a family favorite. Our children and their friends love playing it. While our younger child likes the way the turnstiles rotate on their pegs, our older ones like to see who can solve a challenge first. The game comes with 40 challenges from beginner to expert. Once you get past the first level or so of challenges, they will give even adults a run for their money!

In short, if you are looking for good value for your money and for something that will stimulate and challenge your mind, I highly recommend Turnstile.

HASH(0x9b1e10b4) out of 5 stars A top pick for puzzle gamers 28 Feb. 2012

This is one enjoyable game! Already in possession of other ThinkFun games, we decided to give this one a try and purchased two Turnstile games; one for us and one for the grandkids. After playing it several times, I would say the game ranks as one of the best that ThinkFun has produced. In fact, for its size (3x3) and relatively few number of pieces (1 to 6), it offers a considerable amount of strategy and compares favorable to other games that require larger boards and more pieces. It reminds me of RushHour in that pieces need to move around in a correct sequence in order to get them to a desired spot. Only, instead of moving cars back and forth, you push pieces through revolving turnstiles.

Although a new game, Turnstile has already received some great feedback. One review site (daddoes) rated it an excellent choice for parents seeking games that encourage critical thinking in their children. Additionally, the Museum Of Modern Art in NYC has decided to carry it which is quite an honor considering they only offer a small number of well designed games. Having played a number of ThinkFun games over the years, one thing they have in common is an attention to detail. Turnstile is no exception. You will find Turnstile to be a pleasant addition to your game shelf!

HASH(0x985ad87c) out of 5 stars Great brain exercise! 29 Mar. 2012
By Game Lover - Published on Amazon.com
I've been a huge fan of ThinkFun Rush Hour for years - Turnstile is the newest addition to this line of logic puzzles and I'm hooked! Each challenge shows you how to set up the colored tokens and turnstile gates - then it's up to you and your brain to maneuver the tokens through the turnstiles and back to their respective colored corners! Lots of planning and sequential thinking needed, love that that stores in a drawstring bag for easy travel as this is a puzzle that will be coming on the road with me!

    HASH(0x98e41120) out of 5 stars Challenge! 22 April 2012
By Education - Published on Amazon.com
I thought this game was a great game to play- it was a very difficult challenge for me but I loved that. It forced me to sit and think through all the moves before I made my moves. I would recommend this game for people over the age of 9 as it was a super brain challenge for me and my dad. I always love the Think Fun games and enjoy challenging my brain when I play them at home and in school. Thanks for making another awesome game Think Fun!!!

HASH(0x98da7318) out of 5 stars A Real Mind Bender for Maze and Puzzle Lovers 15 Dec. 2012
    By Robin McCoy-Ramirez - Published on Amazon.com
I have a new favorite single player game from Thinkfun, and it is the Turnstile game, which has 40 challenges, ranging from beginner to expert, to complete. At first, when I was completing the beginner challenges, I thought this puzzle game was a piece of cake. Boy, was I wrong! As the cards got more difficult, so did my frustration -- but in a good way. I loved how I was being challenged to use my brain to navigate around this small board. You would think that only having to move around a few tokens and turnstiles at a time that the puzzles would be quick and easy, but that is not the case. Just the other night, I spent a good 2 hours trying to figure out one of the expert challenges, only to retire and have my husband give it a go. He, too, had a hard time figuring it out, but with luck :-) he solved the puzzle. When he was done gloating, he showed me how he solved this difficult mind-bending puzzle. "Why didn't I think of that or see it?, " I thought to myself. This only made me want to choose another challenge card and give it a go. And, so goes this addicting, yet fun game the whole family can take turns playing. My family and I love to see who can solve the puzzles the fastest. And, being so compact, this game is easy to travel with, and keeps children 8+ entertained, which I love. :-)
