If you like beautiful, inspirational, well-crafted, exceptionally well-written and powerful pop/rock music, then please buy this and also Mads Langer's previous album 'Behold' now. Yes it is very trendy to like Scandinavian culture and art right now (Mads is Danish) but much of what I see on British TV, read and listen to that emanates from that part of the world is simply very very good. Anyway back to Mads...
If you can listen to 'Fact Fiction' from Behold or 'Never Forget You' from this album without a tear forming in your eye then...well, you know what I mean, while 'I Love You' and 'In These Waters' from the two albums respectively are the most delightful sugar-sweet, but intelligently so, ballads.
So, with the songwriting comes a guy with the most unbelievable voice - a voice that will at turns give you lumps in your throat and then inspire and uplift you with goosebumps. Listen to 'Dire Straits' from this album and just go 'Wow!', then turn the lights off, lay down, turn it up and listen to it again. Believe me, you will want to. I have 'Behold' on constant replay, on CD, on my iPad, on my Phone and on my computer - heck, even my kids like him! I've been listening to 'In These Waters' on YouTube for six months already waiting for it to be released here in the UK.
Please buy these two albums and make Mads Langer the star he so deserves to be. Truly the best singer-songwriter I have heard for many many years.
Cheers, Mads, and please tour the UK.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Find! 2 April 2014

For those of you out there who are looking to discover a new artist I encourage you to check this album and artist out. I discovered him on iTunes Radio and I immediately got this album. I'm a lyric driven music guy and he has some brilliantly poetic phrases and his sound, to me, feels like a cross between Sinatra and Duran-Duran. (I'm sure that feels wonky to you as you read this review) - However, take a listen and perhaps you'll hear what I mean. Regardless, I think you'll enjoy it almost as much as I do.

Be well
