Works perfectly with the 9600GT

Superb, is able to run my new 9600GT with my new AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+ perfectly.

I upgraded my PSU from an old 250w rubbish, dull one with a limited amount of wires. This one has all of the wires required for your add ons (e.g. Hard drives, graphics cards, molex cable system fans) and has a nice black shiny surface - which is a bonus :D

I fully recommend it.

Failed after 9 months

I bought this as part of an upgrade to my pentium 4 computer as I intended to install a graphics card and sound card. The computer received lighter use than I expected due to work commitments, and I only purchased one game, playing it for a week. Despite this lack of demanding service the Thermaltake failed last week after just 9 months. The computer failed to boot up and both the processor and case fans ran at full speed whenever the power button was pressed. I figured the motherboard had failed, and initially the repair shop agreed, but testing showed it was the power supply that was at fault. It cost me nearly £110 to get the fault diagnosed and repaired. And I have the original power pack that despite being 400w would probably still have done the job reliably, certainly better than the TR2-500W I bought.
Looks nice, complete rubbish, very disappointed.

Excellent PSU for a low price!

I recently had to install one of these units in a friends computer and it was a very easy job thanks to the simplicity of this power supply. The whole installation took around 15 minutes and the cables inside tidy themselves up quite nicely as they are linked together with a thick material. Whether this is your first time or you have installed many PSU's before, this is the way to go.

Smooth power

A reasonably priced power supply that knocks spots off the more expensive products and it truly supplies very quiet power, it is a pleasure to use also it does have a consistent level of supply with no drop off.
It surprised me and I do like surprises..
