The Thera Cane Massager helps to oxygenate blood by allowing pressure to be focused on certain muscle groups for instant relief. The level of pressure of the device depends upon the exercise used. Due to the advance design the massage Thera Cane allows for a variety of different exercise positions. The Massage Thera Cane is used by focusing light pressure of short periods on certain muscle groups. This would then be followed by a rest period to stop over use. This added discomfort will fade away after a restful sleep and certainly within 12-36 hours. The following day it will be helpful and soothing to work on the same area using a lighter touch. It would also be followed by a hot bath and rest to make sure the full effects can be felt. A systematic approach regardless of the technique used will heighten your awareness of different exercise for your own personal learning. The Thera Cane was original developed for chronic pain patients to help relieve their own discomfort, resulting from neck surgery and a herniated disc. By using the Thera Cane along with a daily stretching routine you can obtained long lasting relief.

Treat Yourself To Deep Relief From Painful, Knotted, Spasmed Muscles - Even In The Middle Of Your Back!
This amazingly simple yet effective self-massager makes it easy to apply pain-relieving deep compression directly to hard, knotted "trigger points" anywhere they occur - breaking up tension even in the hardest-to-reach muscles between your shoulder blades! If you have limited strength or mobility, Thera Cane's patented design gives you all the reach and leverage you need!
How Does It Work?
Pressure applied to the muscles by the Thera Cane helps to maximize the flow of oxygenated blood to the muscles. This pressure aids in restoring muscle function by breaking up adhesions in muscle fibers and tendons. The increased circulation helps the muscle to work more efficiently.
The Thera Cane provides temporary relief from muscular tension, stiffness, tenderness and soreness. It's simple to use and it puts relief where it belongs, in your hands. The personal involvement necessary for using the Cane leads to an increased desire to take more responsibility for one's own health. Using the Thera Cane regularly will put you in touch with your body, closer than you've ever been before, not to mention putting you in control of minor muscular aches and pains. You are never alone when you have your Thera Cane with you.
We all have muscles that occasionally get sore. It might go unnoticed until we reach for something, or bend over. Sometimes a twist or turn is all it takes. This might produce a crick in your neck or a hot spot between your shoulder blades. Either way it can hurt and it just won't seem to go away. We've all tried rubbing the muscle to make the pain lessen. However, it's hard to get in deep enough, or do it long enough, maybe you just can't reach the spot on your own. With the Thera Cane you can apply deep pressure massage to the back, neck, shoulders, legs, hips, arms, buttocks, anywhere and everywhere and we show you how.

I had some weird 'moving' muscles in the back of my neck for several months which hurt I have repeatedly tried to get out with hand massages but it didn't improve - but worked this area for about 2 mins with the cane and the area has stopped moving and feels released... VERY IMPRESSED SO FAR.
I've suffered with back and neck problem for what seems like forever. My neck was so bad that i found it difficult to look to the ceiling without feeling pain and tension. Ive always had knots in my shoulders and back and find it difficult to relax. I carry a lot of stress in my back and shoulders. Ive had numerous sports and deep tissue massages which have helped somewhat but are far too expensive to become regular. I was initially hesitant to buy the theracane because it looked gimmicky and rather expensive but after reading the reviews i managed to convince myself that it would be worth a try. ( i figured i could send it back if i found it ineffective 😉) I'm sooo glad i ordered it. So far I've only used the large knob at the end of the curve but that has helped to release the knots in my shoulders and neck. I was shocked to feel the range of motion in my neck after using and for the first time could look up without pain. It does feel very uncomfortable to the point of being painful but you also feel all the tension leaving. Its a strange sensation that travels up to your head which feels sort of tingling. It literally feels like the pressure you have in your head ( that you didn't even know was there) is being lifted. You are left with a feeling of deep relaxation and well being. I found myself being less uptight and my sense of humour returned. All this after the first use. Another strange side effect of using this is that my vocabulary seems to have improved and I'm no longer struggling to find the right words. ( maybe it helps with memory??) I feel much more positive about life in general and look forward to using this daily to unlock and unblock my capabilities ( and of course my knots)
The instuctions are very helpful as not only do they show you how to use the tool but also show the various trigger points. I found that if i press a certain point in my shoulder blades the pain radiates and eventually releases my neck further.
I have managed to loosen the knots in my back and can now feel them move under pressure instead of being rock hard.
I'm enjoying the massaging results of my upper back and neck so much that i haven't yet moved down to my lower back. I'll update on that as i progress.
I think this tool would be even more effective after a hot bath when muscles are more supple. I intend to take mine to the sauna and use it there. Cant wait.
I was very impressed by the huge majority of positive reviews on Amazon - especially the ones where people say it cured long term pain - it sounded too good to be true - but something I had to try!
I have used it on several occasions now - sometimes just to massage tight muscles - upper back, lower back, shoulder and neck - it is quite easy to use once you get used to it; it is very light and easy to manoeuvre to find the 'trigger points'.
A couple of weeks ago I woke up with a really painful shoulder and neck - the type which usually takes at least a few days to heal. I decided to give the Theracane a try - it didn't take long to find the trigger point, I could actually feel it easing the muscle. I didn't think much more about it... until later in the afternoon when I found myself unexpectedly painting my shed (!!) - and my neck and shoulder felt fine! This is when I realized how effective the Thera Cane had been!
I actually bought it because I have a damaged coccyx and am unable to sit down... As it is a difficult condition to treat and I do not want to cause any more pain in this area, I have only used the Thera Cane lightly around my spine and lower back. The coccydinia pain, so far, remains the same - but that is probably because my coccyx is dislocated. Hopefully it will help in time to relax the muscles and maybe my coccyx will go back to where it should be! I can hope.
Overall though, I definitely highly recommend the Thera Cane!!
