I don't yet read in full this great title ... However because a small book, I consult frequently.
It is exciting to see and understand a new nature for numbers. Like a mathematician I consider interesting the new approach for numbers.
However, an astonishing fact is that composite numbers has a special nature. Unfortunately I don't yet see a path to factorize them ... from the Theological point of view.
This book, that can be re-printed under a new light ... offers endless insight about the "true" nature of the so-called natural abstractions called "numbers".

Like what other reviewers pointed out, the book is a synopsis. Despite its succinct format, however, it is quite a dive into the depths of ancient thought. Other texts I recommend would be Manly Hall's Secret Teachings of All Ages and his Lectures on Ancient Philosophy. Much of what Hall talks about in his books made this book comprehensible for me. Maybe they will help you.
Reviewers also mentioned reading the book numerous times. Do that. This is an excellent text for meditations. In fact, I believe that's what it was really designed for: to draw the truth out of you. Remember, this kind of information is intuitive, not strictly rational. The finer details of these Platonic/Neoplatonic philosophies are discovered in the amalgamate of the text and your inner Self, not solely in one or the other. Thus, you see the alchemical connection.
