Where to start. This appears to be a completely random selection of theatres from across the globe - no rationale is given for inclusion. Yes, it includes some of the world's greatest opera houses, concert halls and theatres but also the extremely undistinguished Bengt Sjostrom Starlight Theatre in Rockford, Illinois and Theater Gütersloh in Germany.
The inner covers have stylised maps presenting the project names in a most peculiar fashion.
The pictures are of very variable quality. The interiors frequently have the yellow/orange tint of photos shot badly in auditoria. The pictures of Teatro Amazonas in Manaus, Brazil are unflattering and poor.
The single paragraph on each theatre is inadequate and occasionally misleading. The page headed Metropolitan Opera House New York has a photograph of the adjacent Julliard School's Alice Tully Hall.
