So far I've only taken up the trial subscription, having previously gotten used to reading the paper version of the magazine.

This version always allows you to access the contents with a click of the centre button, allowing you to skip entire sections that don't interest you - sport anyone? - and doesn't really lose any of the content of the paper version of the magazine.

If any negatives exist, it'd merely be that after lusting after the properties in colour, they don't quite have the same punch in black and white. Otherwise, a faultless replication of the 'roll up and swat flies' version.

As the title says - I'm very happy with this product.

I've been waiting for the Week to come out on the Kindle for a long time and now that it has arrived, it is equally as good as the paper copy, without all the wastage.

The week is a great magazine to catch up with the best bits of the written media without all the nonsense.

Delighted.

I have just taken a subscription for The Week on my Kindle Fire and it looks really good. As a long time overseas subscriber to the print version of The Week, I recently cancelled it when the post to my part of the world got so bad that I was receiving it 2 weeks after publication. It loses its appeal when the content is almost 3 weeks out of date. But I don't have an iPad so I had no access to a digital version. Until now. I have had a Kindle Fire, bought by my sons from New York, for some time but have had limited access to decent magazine content. But The Week for Kindle is just what I wanted. The content appears to be much the same and is clear, easy to read and the pictures and graphics mostly seem to be there in full colour clarity. Only pity is that for some reason the price for the Kindle version is more than the iPad. Why is that?

… it is all too violent for me, but I feel it is important to know what is going on in the world. I was lucky enough to find a copy of The Week in a waiting room 10 years ago (I am 40 now) and have been a loyal subscriber ever since. It gives me an indepth-enough background on all the main stories so I have a better than average understanding on all the main stories. On top of that there are so many other aspects to the magazine that keep me abreast of all the talking points, good and bad, and because it is the best articles from around the world, I find myself laughing and crying within a space of minutes It is a great product and I will continue to subscribe.

If like other reviewers you don't have the time or inclination to follow the news daily then this is for you.... What I like is the cross section of views from several news sources with no political bias as found in left and right wing daily newspapers...

I personally don't mind only reading the news at the end of the week, because newspapers follow up a topic with a sentence of extra information a day just to fill up the paper. The week magazine summarises what happens over the week, with the comments of all the quality newspapers, and it is easy to understand, the context is there. So I am very happy with my subscription, also I'm not wasting any paper anymore by taking a free copy of the tabloids. The only thing that I don't really like are the featured homes for sale, way to expensive.

Love the week magazine.
But very disappointed amazon is selling the US version not the UK version. The edition is missing all the interesting UK articles.
Disappointing as it says The Week Magazine UK

As a Brit living in China this is a very useful publication to keep me up to date on the weeks news around the world.

In terms of the Amazon version i am impressed with the way it automatically downloads to my kindle (via Whisper?!) each week. Only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is that the navigation is a bit messy.
