I've been interested in pick-up and meeting women for around seven years now. I've read a lot of seduction material, both online and in books ('The Game' by Neil; Strauss, 'Bang' by Roosh, 'Attraction Formula' by Paul Janka). I've also watched a ton of video material from the likes of RSD ('The Blueprint and the RSD Nation videos) and others. I recently picked up a copy of The 7 Laws of Seduction by Troy Francis and was really impressed - it is essential reading for beginners and adds a wealth of new insight for those, like me, who am already familiar with a lot of the theories out there.

The great thing about this book is that is doesn't just regurgitate the same old material - Troy Francis adds his own unique spin and insight on all aspects of the seduction process. Dividing it up into seven essential 'laws' that govern every successful pick-up is a masterstroke. This is brilliant for the newbie as it sets everything you need to know out simply and clearly, and it also gives those who have already had success with girls loads of new tips and insights.

Each chapter includes a real-life example from Troy illustrating the concepts outlined and showing how he has picked up different girls. Some of these stories are real eye-openers - like when he picks up a girl in the street and has sex with her within half an hour, or when he meets a Russian girl on the tube and ends up back in her hotel room that same night! It really shows what is possible using his techniques, and is inspiration to everyone who wants to increase their success.

Troy also includes a handy checklist of all the concepts and techniques explained in each section, and best of all, a series of exercises for the reader to undertake. Meeting women is all about practice and real-life experience.Read more ›

Most of this material is essentially nothing new. It adds zero value to a large body of mainly free work that exists on the internet.

Men would be better off just doing the following if they want to get better with women:

1. Learn to dress well
2. Eat well
3. Exercise
4. Focus on building a good career
5. Develop interests/passions you genuinely like and follow them
6. Handle any internal psychology that is holding you back and confronting it

AKA - Get your s*** together. From there you have a base from which to start figuring out how you want to meet women whether it is through shared activities, clubbing, bars whatever, there is no right or wrong answer here.

Just don't buy this book. It was a complete was of money I'd rather have bought 2 lines on the lottery instead.

Did you ever see the movie Hitch with Will Smith, where he plays a guy who helps "losers" get the women they desire ? This book is like that, but its even better because it works in real life and not just in a movie! I used to be a "loser" around women and never knew what to say or how to act. But this book is full of information, examples of social situations and motivation that learns you just how and what to do to have women take notice of you and not see you as another loser.
