The Complete Sarah Jane Adventures Collection, a BBC Sci-Fi drama, brings together all five series of the award-winning Doctor Who spin-off featuring Sarah Jane, the former companion of the Doctor and her teenage gang of alien investigators.

The First Series: When Maria Jackson – a seemingly ordinary girl--moves into Bannerman Road, nothing will ever be ordinary again.

The Second Series: Bannerman Road’s newest arrival is fourteen-year-old Rani Chandra, a wannabe journalist and like Sarah Jane, not the type to let a mystery go unsolved!

The Third Series: Includes return of Sarah Jane Smith’s most fearsome enemy yet – the Judo on ,as well as a visit from an old friend: the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant).

The Fourth Series: Sarah Jane is reunited with another of the Doctor's former companions, Jo Grant, and they're joined by the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith), in an adventure featuring undertaker vultures and trip to an alien planet.

The Fifth Series: The bubbly Sky – the Star child placed in Sarah Jane’s care by The Doctor – settles into Bannerman Road and discovers she has telekinetic powers.

    For those who grew up with Sarah Jane as their companion with Jon Pertwee and then Tom Baker it was great to see her make another appearance in School Reunion.

    From the success of that followed The Sarah Jane Adventures and weather your 5, 55 or 105 this is a delightful boxset that includes all stories from the 5 series Elisabeth Sladen made before her untimely death in 2011.

    We have the Tenth Doctor David Tennant appear alongside Elisabeth Sladen in The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith plus The Death Of the Doctor we get Matt Smith and Katy Manning comes back to play Jo Grant (Jones) and it is lovely to watch both Lis and Katy interact as they are connected by both working with Jon Pertwee in 70s and are loving every moment onscreen.

    There are extra features but no commentary on the episodes which is a shame but if you have classic who and have got Katy Mannings last story The Green Death on disc 2 you get The Death of The Doctor episode with Commentary from Russell T Davis and Katy Manning loving that she was allowed to come back and if Elisabeth Sladen had not passed away Russell mentions he would have her come back an odd time with some other classic companions which would have been amazing to see.

    This is so lovely that Russell T Davis gave this character a new lease of life so a brand new generation could fall in love with Sarah Jane Smith and a legacy that Elisabeth Sladen would be proud of.

    This may be targeted for the young generation but this wonderful woman had that special something that could span a whole generation of people.

    Goodbye Sarah Jane Smith you will never be forgotton as long as I have your wonderful adventures to watch as many times as I like.

With guest appearances of the brigadier , 10th doctor ,11th doctor and Jo grant .jo appeared at the end of power of the doctor in 2022 and Jodie whittikars final series . I loved the series as it was fresh ,series 5 the final series is good but I felt it was a little rushed

    Regardless, I had to buy this because it just reminds me of my teenage-hood lol 🥰. Why at 13 was I watching scary things like the Trickster is beyond me, that was definitely not child friendly hahahahahahhaa! Can't wait to watch again 😍

    Absolutely amazing set. Excellent value for money; for £29.99 you get five seasons and the feature-length pilot episode. It has a running time of 24hrs and 47mins, so I wouldn't reccomend watching it all in one sitting!!
    My favourite episodes are Warriors of Kudlak, The Last Sontaran, The Enemy of the Bane, The Gift, The Nightmare Man, The Empty Planet, Goodbye Sarah Jane Smith and The Curse of Clyde Langer.
    There are only three episodes in this set that are bad. They are The Mark of the Beserker, The Mad Woman in the Attic and The Eternity Trap.

    Overall, this box set is good for when you're bored or want to put something different on: there's an episode for everyone (for me it's The Enemy of the Bane and The Empty Planet)
