For anyone interested in the horror of the 1692 witchhunt, including those who loved Ms Hill's engrossing A DELUSION OF SATAN, this is a fascinating read through the exciting orginal documents. Indian raids, witchcraft, religious outrages and the miscarriages of justice that led to the terrible hangings are all revealed as if we were there. It's hard to imagine how this book could be bettered.
