The Romaniacs are a group of romance writers drawn together by the strings of fate.
As members of the Romantic Novelists' Association, they immediately shared common ground, and through social media, formed the solid bonds of friendship that now exist.
With their love of reading and writing romance, and the fun and laughter they each bring to the group, their name, acquired from a typo, stuck. Many words created by typo have stuck. Blinty is a favourite, as in, 'Oh blinty! The biscuit tin's empty!'
The Romaniacs are kindred spirits who share a passion for writing, chocolate, and yes, biscuits. They are each other's sounding boards, damp shoulders and outspoken advisors, bringing their vastly different knowledge and experience to the group. They provide cake, too.
A unique band of creative cheerleaders, they shout encouragement to one anther from the sidelines, and wave red and white pom poms with gusto, no matter what the weather.
