Mr Grump muses on everything from TVs, computers and the internet, (not even Amazon reviews are neglected!) to the challenges of the supermarket self-checkout machines. This book will have you rolling in the bagging area, along with your unexpected items. If you've ever gazed in bewilderment at the rows of buttons on your TV remote and then hollered for your seven year old grandchild for help, this book is for you.
Mr Grump is clearly more competent than he likes to make out though, able to poke fun at technology most of us grumpy old dinosaurs have barely heard of, let alone have the capacity to lampoon. No technological gadgetry has escaped the wit of this very funny writer who finds humour and irony even in keyless cars and homicidal Sat Navs.
Every page had me laughing out loud. It's so good to know that I'm not the only numpty in an increasingly gigabitten society.
