Fantastic continuation of the series
on 22 February 2014
In this latest book in the Righteous series Michael Wallace moves the story arc forward with the suggestion that the End of Days is arriving. I enjoyed the focus on the internal politics of the settlement and the contrast with the breakdown of state and military politics as natural and man made crises beset the world. The strength of the novels lies in the writing and the creation of characters with whom the reader can identify. Yet again the author combines a number of threads and ensures that each character is well defined. It is a acknowledgement of the strength of his writing that none of the characters feel poorly drawn and unlike another reviewer I love the fact that previous story lines are referenced. I wholeheartedly recommend this book along with all the earlier ones in the series. Indeed in preparation for this being published I reread the five previous novels and enjoyed them even more the second time round.
