This is a detailed book on Day Trading. Having read about more than 300 books on Investment, this book ranks on of the well -written, objective writing. The author moved from Germany to USA. Having experienced similar challenges that many new-comers in the block (new neighbourhood, new country), he concentrated on making living by becoming a professional trader.We agree what he states; that to be a trader, probably the most effective method to accumulate wealth. Age, gender, race, religion, education, none of these bars that discriminates large segment of society one way or another do not apply to this job, a professional trader. Of course, to be a successful trader, you need to treat as a profession; work as hard as you can, learn, practice and improve. 270 pages of great lessons and information on day trading. There are 4 markets to do day trade, Equities, Forex, Futures, Options. This book covers all of these markets. Why day trade? Because for general population who have limited capital, it is the safest way to control risk; you do not wake up next morning to find your investment vehicle is crushed and devalued. You finish your trading each day and sleep in peace. The book gives you fundamental knowledge, and few basic strategies upon which you can expand. If there were anything to comment negatively, is that the author uses 'bar' charts instead of 'candlestick' charts. The former does not convey the wealth of information like the latter. This book is both introductory, and review for intermediate for retail traders. Great textbook to study financial market.
