An excellent read for those who admired and followed a Tiger Woods. Explaining the thoughts and attitude of a world class golfer as well as the personal attributes. Haney gives his account of how it was to be part of Tigers team. It's not all a bed of roses.

Avid golfer. Great casual read. I didn't agree with a lot of the stuff Haney said but a fascinating insight regardless.

I don't normally review books but felt compelled to this time.
This is totally self indulgent on Hank Haneys part and seems to be written to justify his own actions from start to finish. Lots of cheap shots thrown at woods regarding his personality.
I didn't get any insight into Tiger Woods, just a litany of complaints from Hank.
Really felt like cringing at times due to some of the petty remarks.

If you really want a no holds look at Tigers life for the period Haney coached him, this is the way to look at it.
I'm not sure of how I want to see Woods anymore, a great talent, but such a mixed up character away from the course.
There was a few teaching aspects I took from Haney as well and it has seemed to help my game a little, but this is no instruction book.

A really good read; very interesting to learn about the reality of what was achieved under great stress - not visible to the public!

There has been plenty already said about this book and the sound bites have hit the news. But alongside the wealth of seemingly balanced views on this troubled star, there sits a great deal of sound technical advice from Hank Haney on how to play good golf. Biography and manual in one. A good read for any golfer.

Gives a huge insight into not only the swing changes but also the mental issues that Tiger was going through.

A must read.

Well written and thought provoking, this is a fascinating insight into the endless hard work involved in becoming (and coaching) a truly great champion. Never gossipy, the book is an honest account of a difficult relationship and is a must read for all golf fans.
