This is an excellent account of the little known "second front"on the Arakan coast of Burma which was undertaken by a mishmash of ships, sailors and soldiers who operated under horrendous conditions to distract the Japanese army from General Slims 14th army who were undertaking a land attack from the other side of Burma.
WEll written and researched from reports, documents and recollections that make a fascinating read.
The pictures are good considering the conditions that existed. The map and bibliography are excellent.
A highly recommended book.
