Read some good reviews for this book, but I'm left disappointed.
The book itself feels cheap and the quality is poor. No colour or glossy pages gives it the feel of something you might find in a clearance bookshop.
Most disappointing is the lack of photographs of the recipes. Not one pictureof stacked pancakes, huge juicy burgers or biscuits and gravy to get you in the mood to give these recipes a go. It left me a little uninspired.
This book really doesn't feel like a celebration of the great American diner, the culture surrounding it or the great food. A shame as this could have been a great addition to any kitchen, but falls flat
