This is fantastic! I read the novels by Abraham Merritt about forty years ago, and still have a couple of the paperbacks. But to have everything in a collection for 36p! The stories are in the pulp tradition, but are a cut above the usual standard, with vivid storytelling and half-decent characterisation. Thanks to the Wildside Press for yet another superb Megapack collection! Highly recommended.

A good collection (a real bargain too!) of the main works of Abraham Merritt, a carefully meticulous writer of outre tales of ancient lands, devilish horrors and lost races. If you can struggle through the "Moon Pool", then you're in! For me, his best two tales have to be "Seven Footsteps to Satan", concerning a super criminal (aren't they always in fiction?) and "Burn Witch, Burn", a slow burning tale which gives the reader a subtle twist on the old voodoo doll gimmick. Very creepy.
