It is a good thing to read about how they looked within, and found the courage to be their most courageous and centered in their own power before attempting to build a relationship.
I like this compilation of stories not only because it reflects all ages, cultures, and countries of origin, but also the common thread of what really works... What needs to happen in order for anyone to find love, which is to find 'self-love' first.
I wish I had this book when I was very young... Because it would have helped me put the energy where it needed to go rather than look for love in all the wrong places.
I liked the book because it confirmed what I had already found to be true—that success in relationship is primarily based on work on oneself. That the coauthors come from different countries and cultures confirms that this principle is universal.
A passage that stood out was “Being able to express emotions in a way that feels safe for our partner is essential for a relationship to thrive.” It’s all about trust. It’s the foundation of any good marriage or relationship.
The emphasis on taking action is found throughout the book. That’s the only thing that will bring about the results you need to find a soulmate. “Is That What Love Is?” is a great book for anyone looking for love. I recommend it highly.
What I loved about this compilation is that women from far and wide contributed how “real love” finally arrived and was achieved. They opened up their hearts and souls and courageously shared the ups and down’s of what it took to attract sincere companionship within their lives.
Despite of the various backgrounds and cultures of the various women, the one commonality mastered by the contributors was simply the concept of attracting real love. Way to go Ordonez once again.
I'd recommend this book! Thanks Carolina for writing it.
