Enjoy protection from the elements with an extra dose of style in the teva kimtah ii wp mesh. Lined in leather for next-to-skin softness, this women's hiking shoe has a leather and mesh upper and gains further protection from a waterproof t.i.d.e. Seal membrane; the front closure ensures a customizable fit. The shoc pad blended polyurethane/eva unit in the heel cup transfers the energy of impact throughout the footbed and away from the heel. Underfoot, a mush-infused insole adds cushy comfort to every step you take in the teva kimtah ii wp mesh, while a versatile spider365 rubber outsole with an aggressive lug design lends reliable grip even on loose terrain.

When I took these out of the box my first thought was "Ew, they feel like they're stiff and clunky". I put them on and they fit perfectly! So I thought well the only way I'm going to find out how these perform is to take them out on the trail. I bought these because I walk our dogs twice every day no matter the weather (at least 2 miles each walk) and here in northern Minnesota we have extremes. We walk on trails through the woods which can be wet and muddy spring, summer and fall and snow covered during the long months of winter.
These shoes performed wonderfully. They were comfy and they kept my feet dry when I went through mud puddles. I tried to step around a particularly mucky section of the trail and ended up sticking my foot right in the muck. I thought "there go my nice clean new shoes. But by the time I got home, the mud and dried and disappeared. They still look new! I have since worn them while it was raining and my feet stayed dry. I've worn them while walking the dogs on the sidewalk also, and the shoes are still comfortable.
No pinching, blisters, or wet feet. I wear a size 7 in all of my shoes and boots. I purchased these in a 7 also. I can wear regular sox or hiking sox.
