I have been a huge fan of hip-hop ever since 1996 and through the years i have seen the best and the worse. Hip-hop has changed alot since the early 90's late 80's and most people would see that it's lost it's originality and that rappers are always talking about the same thing, but this is where the Westside Connection come into it.
Westside Connection have found a new enemy (not Cypress Hill), and yes it's hip-hop and they tell how it's deteriated into nothing more than girls, girls, girls. Westside Connection consists of the legends Ice Cube, Mack 10 and WC and in this album they do nothing but lay down pure heavy beats and tell the truth about how lame hip-hop is getting.
All i can say is that if your a true hip-hop fan then this is the album that should be excepted into your collection
(no doubt about it)
My final thought for this album and why you should should get
It, is listed in the following.
1) Nothing but the truth
2) It has great sense of humour
3) A legendary group
4) Excellent beats
5) Inspirational
This is why i gave this album a 5/5 star review

Ice Cube, W.C and Mack 10 are all heavy rappers alone, put them all together and u get a raw album. There last album was quality but this is beta. Each tune is gangsta with deep bass on each one, definatley a cruisin record, da first few tracks r tha best.

This album is nothing but good from beginning to end. The album atarts off with 'call 9-1-1' and it gives an overall feel about how the album is gonna be. A straight hardcore westcoast banger. Best songs on the album are ' gangsta nation' which features the best hook singer around Nate Dogg. 'Pimp The System' which features butch cassidy-another well known west coast hook singer. 'So Many Rapppers In Love' is a gr8 track and tells us that rap shouldn't always be about love! And 'Terrorist Threats' this song is kind of a freestyle with WC ripping it up. There isn't one song i dont like on the album, which is a rarity. Only complaint is that its a little short but the overall quality of the album makes up for that. I would recommend this to any fan of hip hop.

There is a mixture on here guaranteed to suit those looking for a more commercial sound or even those in pursuit of hardcore gangsta anthems post millennium. Having come off second best to Cypress Hill in the diss stakes, they seem to have toned it down somewhat and look to the terrorist theme as opposed to representing their hood which was part of the immense power and success of their first album Bow Down.
