When the sun goes down and the moon shines brightly, the tenantsinhabiting the Lincoln Towers tremble in fear...terrified of an evil, omnipotent presence, a merciless street gang calling themselves the"Vampires." The Vampires are lead by none other than Tony Todd as theCount! As the King of these apartments, he strikes fear into the hearts ofhis innocent prey.
Gary Frank is an insurance salesman, an ordinary, blue collared John Doe. Ray Parker Jr.mis a telephone repairman. The twoshare absolutely nothing in common except for the necessity of survival.Caught in the warfare of the Vampires' vicious nightly activities of chaosand total fanatical frenzy, the two must align together if their chancesof surviving the Vampires' ordeal is at all, to say the least, tenuous. The hunted duo's lives are in jeopardy. Their only essence to triumph overadversity is a motley of courageous souls including a tough elderly woman, her beautiful teenage granddaughter, Toni (Stacey Dash), and a crippled, psychopathic Vietnam veteran (Jan-Michael Vincent. This Vietnam vet mayvery well serve as much of a hostile threat rather than an ally to bothFrank and Ray Jr. The clash between good and evil continues in a vortex ofanxiety and perturbation until the last survivors of both sides meet in afinal confrontation...
This film is exceptional and also features thesong dealing with life by the boogie boys. A must have 10/10

For such a low budget film and obscure film, Enemy Territory has a cast and feel way above what was paid for.

How this film hasn't been rereleased or hasn't been taken on board as a "Cult Film" is above me. It really has all but disappeared into obscurity which is a massive shame as almost 25 years later the only way to watch it is on VHS or this poor quality Dutch DVD release with annoying burnt on subtitles.

Filmed in lower Manhattan and briefly in LA (the exterior of Barry's office) a gang called the Vampires led by Tony Todd in full overacting mode rule the housing project a down on his luck Insurance salesman has to visit just as night is setting in. Not saying anymore but, you can probably have a guess!

While I agree with all 3 reviewers about their ratings from 1 to 5 stars (based on the film and the quality of the release in the 1 star case) I have to give this film 5 stars and if you can hunt down the VHS and have a player buy that instead. If you can't the DVD while pricey is the way to go if you want to own this film which anyone with an interest in this genre of films should do.

Wonderful performances by all cast keeping your feet firmly on the ground, feeling everything that happens caught in its grip not moving. Gangland territory and he just happen to get caught there on business, You should watch this movie a fantastic classic. The movie Class of 84 was fabulous and this one is just as great, biting your nails entertainment, action around every corner with plenty of suspense to go along as well. Caught in a complex with the only exit out and the gang between you and that. Your trapped in there relying on others to help you get to safety, to which a lot are reluctant to get involved. No more hints as that is cheating and I don't think you will be disappointed, Sit awhile and relax with this unforgettable movie very different in every aspect, I rated this movie an A grade plus. See for yourself and go get it, you won't forget it that's for sure. Enjoy!

I saw this film many years ago,and enjoyed it..watching it more recently,i realise it has become a little "dated" but it's still a good watch..also the leader of the gang is played by Tony Todd, who later played the lead in the candyman films..also Ray Parker JR (who yer gonna call).
anyway, enemy territory has a simple storyline,a white "down on his luck" insurance salesman has to visit a tower block in a rough area of New York at night..he upsets a young gang member and this results in the whole gang trying to find him..he meets Ray parker JR,and together they try and escape, they are on the top floor, working downwards, and the gang are on the ground floor working upwards..thats about it!!! worth seeing..but it's expensive at over 20 pounds, for such an old movie...

This is A great "Assault on Precinct 13" Type Action Film where an Insurance Salesman visits a woman in A towerblock to have papers signed and due to a misunderstanding becomes trapped in the Block and Hunted by A Gang calling themselves the Vampires.Ray Parker Jnr (Who Ya Gonna Call?!!!!!) Is surprisingly good as the Telephone repairman that comes to our Heroes aid.Standout Performances come from Tony Candyman Todd as the Vampire's Leader and An Extended Cameo from Jan Michael Vincent as A Grizzled (No Strain There) Vietnam War Hero,Crippled but far from going down easy. This is An Exciting Flick with a real Grindhouse/DeathWish feel to it and is well worth a look.

The film is OK. Just the way I remembered from my teenage days. But this Dutch version DVD is awful. Is no more than a (really bad) home-made like transfer from a VHS tape. Image is terrible and sounds terrible too. The menu is as poor as can be, and the only subtitles option (dutch) is mandatory, so you just can't turn it off. I really wanted this film in my collection, so I supose it's better to have it this way than don't have it. But if is not your case, run and hide from it...
