The hard cover book is bright and full of pop up pictures and sliding images. It will certainly get the attention of children and they will be engaged with the bright colours, there is just so much going on - on each page. It is certainly miles away from the books I used to buy for my children in the 90's, they were boring and bland compared to this.
The book is sure to be a hit with teachers, pupils and parents and help children to learn their times tables in a fun and memorable way.
The book has 12 double pages and "Trixie Trick" (a yellow star) will help you on each page with lots of tricks to learn the times tables.
I was kindly sent this book for review purposes and the opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
I have added photographs.
They both choose it regularly, and it's showing wear and tear (much of it is pop-up and moveable bits).
Each page looks at a different table (starting with zero times table). There are lots of fun pictures and tabs to move on each page. An example is the 8-times table is all about an octopus. Incorporated on each page is a simple list of the table (1x1=1, 2x1=2 etc).
