My this is the first time I have read this author's writings and I really enjoyed every minute. Everything you can think of is in it this book, Adventure, Survival, Fear, Jealousy, Betrayal, Suspense, Action Packed, Loyalty, Hate, Lust, Love. Yes, this is definitely a Must Read Book/Series.. Looking forward to Book 2, Rocked By the Vampire.
Magdalena De la Rosa aka: Maggie, Mags
is a human journalist starting her new job in San Francisco, her first night she went to Club Royal. Maggie only had eyes for the band's lead singer who came and sat with her bringing out feelings she felt she shouldn't have. Or should she?
Cian DeMarco is a Vampire who is Two hundred and twenty years old but for the past seventy years he has had a mansion in San Francisco where his twin brother and him lived. Him and his band mates played at the Club Royal living life to the fullest. Cian could smell her from the stage, he knew her blood would be sweet, no one has ever effected him like this before. Could she be the one? Did he believe in fate?

I love this author and for a start of a series and introduction to characters this was a great read. The only reason I took away a star is purely for the fact the ending seemed slightly rushed, perhaps another chapter in between events would have helped. Even an epilogue. Once you read you may see where I'm coming from

This book was so good and I'm grateful to Susan for inviting me to Beta Read it. It was a hot read and kept me hooked start to finish! You may want to keep an iced drink on hand while reading cause it has seriously high heat levels! Loved this book!

The start of The Immortal Hearts series is very provocative. There are the two sides, one human and one vampire, feelings of being drawn to each other without knowing why. The vampire of course twigs first that she is his mate to be but the human girl is still very unsure of what is going on but however is so overtaken with her feeling for him that although she tries to hold back, she is not sure she wants to while he knows that he doesn't but is willing to wait for her. If only it was that easy of course. There many instances of well I could have seen that coming but honestly without them and the coincides that are within the story, the story itself would no be what it is. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves reading vampire stories that are a a bit different and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
