Gage is a cop in the Special Forces Division but on this night he is helping out his brother at his tattoo shop. In walks Lizzy and his life will never be the same. He agrees to her 30 day experiment of proving her wrong that bad boys can be reformed as he sees underneath her bravado to someone who has been knocked around in life not unlike him.
Their 30 day experiment is filled with humor and heat but the emotional pull will drag you in and keep you captive as this author never fails to create characters that make you feel. This is a wonderful addition to the series and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
Tempt Me With Forever is a romance and, of course, it has a happy ending for Lizzie and Gage, but also a "cliffhanger", although I'm not sure this is the right word. I know that many people do not like cliffhangers, I certainly do not like them, but the end of this book does not bother me because it does not affect the main characters or their story. It is not an anguished ending that makes you regret having read the book, this is not the case. The end of Tempt Me is a way to link two series and present the next protagonists. I love when an author does this, the characters in one series appear in another series. It's like a little joke from the author, something you only know if you've read the books.
If you have not read any book by Maria Luis, Tempt Me With Forever is a good book to start knowing her because this story is Maria Luis in pure state.
I voluntarily read an ARC of this book.
