Hard Anodized technology enables the pans to distribute heat quickly and evenly giving you precision control when cooking
they are also extremely tough and ultra resistant to abrasion and corrosion
This strengh, combined with the naturally smooth surface, makes it easy to keep the pans looking their best
The range features Tefal's new generation of non-stick coating, Prometal Pro, which greatly increases both the performance and the durability of the non-stick coating
This coating is so durable that it can withstand the use of metal utensils
Tefal's unique heat indicator lets you know when your pan is pre-heated to the right temperature to seal in the flavour of your food.

Even though these pans were expensive we thought we could justify the price as they had a lifetime guarantee on the non stick coating.
We were very impressed with them at first and always use plastic utensils and washed the pans by hand as they were so easy to clean.....HOWEVER...
2 years down the track the non stick coating is peeling away in strips and blistering.
I am concerned about the coating flaking off into our food.
I took them back with the receipt to the department store but they said there was nothing they can do.
I will have to try to contact Tefal now who I expect will want to inspect the pans etc (what do we cook with then?????)
I guess they will try to use the loophole of reasonable wear and tear or overheating the bottoms.
I would also like to add that the small pan does not balance empty on the hob as the handle is too heavy so it falls over, and that the handles and pan lids have to be handled with oven gloves as they can get very hot.
I wish I had bought the Circulon range now.
I would buy then again.
They refused to refund us so I had to pick some replacement pans from another Tefal range which I'm hoping are not equally flawed. So buyer beware - if you decide to buy these make sure that that you can get a full refund or that there is another range of pans you wouldn't mind having as a replacement because you will be taking them back in a matter of months.
My main hate of these pans comes down to the ridiculously heavy handles - I use a gas hob and if I put a pan on the hob and it is not at a precise angle it will simply fall off - exceptionally dangerous. Fine if it is weighted down with hot water but if you had a little hot fat in it could cause a serious injury.
Having had one set of pans for the last 8 years (Circulon by Analon - can't beat 'em)I wanted a pan set that I could shove in the dishwasher, were a good non stick coating (which admittedly these are - perhaps that is why they get their star!). I wish I had never bought these - they take the pleasure out of cooking!
I can honestly say they are the BEST ones we have ever had and cant understand the problems other people have had with them. Admittedly we have been careful and only use none stick utensils in them and also we dont have a dish washer and only use none scratch scourers on them but for £200 as thats what i paid for the 5 piece set i wanted to take care of them.
They are as good as new and have NEVER lost any of there coatings from inside or out, we have all 3 saucepans, the stock pot, griddle pan, 2 frying pans and they are all fantastic and would recommend to anyone that these are excellent pans and as long as you take care of them they will last a life time.
Have since replaced the pans with a much cheaper, but seemingly more resilient, similar style from a well-known supermarket.
