Great short story with an almost poetic feel to it, especially in the final paragraphs. It has a twisted perversion about it as it effortlessly warps everyday childhood objects into living, fleshy things. Extremely gruesome and somewhat dreamlike, the story is an addictive and enjoyable read for those who love dark fantasy or are simply in need of something to refresh their palate. I only wish that I had more. After all, everything eats.
