O.K. as a massive fan at the time this album seem to take an age to arrive, but in retrospect is was only two years after the disappointing Pleasure One. The lead single The ballad of Go Go Brown, a harmonica lead blues tracks about an errant drug dealer, is a red herring. What you get is an album by a band clearly on wane trying to find a style that suits. The problem is that there is nothing on the album that comes close to that of their first three. The best tracks (Train of love, Responsibility) sound like off cuts from the much better How Men Are. The attempt at different styles (something that Heaven 17 have done since their second album) come up short because the songs simply aren't good enough. Shame really.

Bar a couple of filler tracks this is perfect. Not as good as the predecessor Pleasure One which in my opinion is one of the best albums of the 80s period.
Best tracks, Hot Blood, Responsibility, The last Seven Days & the Jimmy Ruffin less The Foolish Thing to Do.
