With this purchase you will receive Techari played live in Barcelona in its entirety on cd and also dvd. The track order is slightly different to that of the studio album but that really doesn't matter. Any fan of this band and Techari will be blown away by how good Ojos de Brujo are when performing this material live. There are about 20 people on stage all playing a huge array of instruments with many guest appearances from people like father freddi. I'm not sure of the band members names but all I can say is that they all give 100% and all produce a carnival atmosphere on stage. It really is breathtaking to watch. I'm not usually a fan of live cds but on this occasion you get all your favourite Techari tracks played with passion and raw talent this band has in spades. Unmissable for the price.

I usually steer clear of live recording like the previous reviewer. Having seen some of the songs performed on YouTube I was blown away by it. They really put every bit of effort into entertaining their audiences, with a huge band, flamenco dancers, guest appearances and intriguing projections. I guess their music would be categorised as progressive Flamenco/Latin, even jazz and a hint of hip hop. Each performance is executed with sheer precision and real energy making it a performance that you can really get absorbed into!

The reason why I (reluctantly) give this 4/5 is because of their cover of Bob Marley's 'Get Up, Stand Up'. It's not that they don't do it well but in my opinion they don't do it right! Being a fan of Bob Marley you might expect that though; so don't let this criticism put you off a real gift of a performance.. Just be warned if you love the original version!

Stand out track: Todo Tiende.

First of all I have not seen this DVD but I did catch Ojos live a couple of years ago on the same tour and they blew me away. The previous two reviewers seem to have the excitement of the live performance nailed so the DVD is obviously a good representation of the busy live show I was treated to. This gig, along with Gotan Project a couple of years earlier at the same venue made me seriously question why I had spent so much money going to see bands that can barely play three-chords without fluffing it!
