You know when you go into a book with a particular idea in your head of what it's going to be like - raunchy, sexy, forbidden, an arse for a teacher leading a young girl astray ? Well this book delivered so much more than what I expected. It is a beautiful story of love and finding yourself after years of denying, doubting yourself - thinking your not good enough. I so enjoyed reading this story, which is so well written, the characters were a joy to get to know and love, the chemistry off the charts hot and some of the sex scene's were scorching, you need to read one handed with this book, because you might need the other one for more pleasurable things !!!
Jack Kingston is a professor at Oxford University and Harper Reed is his student. They meet in a most unusual way not knowing who the other is until Harper attends his first class the next day and recognises Jacks voice and knows she is in deep trouble. She is drawn to him like a moth to a flame and he feels the same way when he actually gets round to admitting it to himself. They both know that this is wrong and can never work, but who wouldn't want to be touching the delectable professor every chance she can get - all the other female students ogle him daily, but it's Harper that get's his body tingling with need, he wants her, needs her and he means to have her. But how will this interfere in their working arrangements and Harper's studying which is paramount to her.
I loved both of these characters, Harper seems to know exactly what she want's from life, even if she has made mistakes in the past. She speaks her mind and is feisty and goes after what she want's. Ah Jack, what a darling this man is.

I loved this book and fell in love with the characters! My only downfall is I felt it could have been longer with more hookups and a bit more to the ending for instance we didn't hear about how Hannah was with Harper when she went back to her class or if she no longer was going to her class and if there would have been any problems with the teacher pupil relationship once people found out they were together even if she was at a new school! I would have liked to have learnt more about what their future held once she finished her last year and if she stayed in England but I won't drop a star as I did love it and would definitely read again! I'm just hoping maybe it mean a sequel :)

The epiphany of a truly beautiful passionate romance. I adore Jack, brooding, sexy, living an existence without feeling it, a shared connection that ran deep. Harper, the sassy American, who was at the right place at the right time, although subsequently that was called into doubt. Those two character's take the reader on a beautiful sexy romp that has an element of taboo. Each hiccup could mean the end & I held my breath a couple of times hoping the next page would work out happily. The back ground of Oxford and studying there was not overdone overused or pushed a forced history lesson on the masses - a lot of writers tend meander off course when writing about the area. The other characters were a bit annoying, 'M very careless with her visiting friends walking around city at night alone. The boys Nick & Patrick just seemed cling-ON's, I would have been interesting to have more dynamic between these characters as I believe it would have given more validity and depth to the story. It was a page-turning pleasure of a read.

Great writing style and likeable characters made this a compelling read, and once I picked it up I didn't put it down until I'd finished. Why not five stars? Without wanting to give too much away, the lack of consequences over Jack and Harper's actions when they got caught puzzled me. And I also couldn't help gritting my teeth at Jack's willingness to get behind the wheel after consuming large quantities of alcohol. For me, driving under the influence doesn't add to a man's sex appeal.

I really really enjoyed this story !!

I say story not book because I hope that Lola Darling sees within her to write a second part - there's so much more I want to know about these characters, I'm not ready for them to be done yet!!!

I love the taboo subject dealt with in the story of the professor/student romance. It's a refreshing change to read this kind of romance, which shows attraction or even love can develop anywhere at anytime.
I found this fascinating that the author not only captivated me with the main couple but the flow of the journey they were on was easy to feel like you were right there with them. Add in the location (which is very near to me ;)) I felt the whole book come to life.

This has a perfect combination of passion, poetry and scenery wrapped up in a little bow.

Having just finished this I'm left feeling like a big squishy pile of mush. This book, THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE is what more student/teacher stories should be like.

It just had the perfect mix or chemistry, tension, sex, romance and character development. I absolutely loved Jack, he was just so .... Dreamy

And yes okay I ultimately knew what would happen along the way, BUT that didn't take anything away from this story. It was full of passion and love. Even if the student/teacher story isn't your thing, you should give this one a go - it's a beautiful romance that will leave you swooning.
