Green tea has long been the favourite of health gurus and those seeking easy weight loss solutions. Teapigs organic matcha tea, with 137 times more antioxidants than your average green tea bag, is one for the uber-health-conscious. Amongst the many advantages of matcha tea is its calming benefits, mood boosting qualities and skin and hair recovering abilities. It's also said to boost your metabolism by some 40 percent, with weight loss being a common (and very welcome) effect of regular matcha drinking.

I really prefer bulk powders to bags so you can adjust flavor. Organic is important to me too. I'm switching to another green tea- All Natural Organic - Super Weight Loss Instant Green Tea Powder (Over 100 Servings Per Package) - Buy One Get One Free!. Before this one changed, this was easily the best competition and now it'll likely replace my Davidson's habit. Great green tea seems to be harder and harder to come by.
My own opinions, based on some 15 years fine tuning my taste buds to better quality teas, were this was of a very poor quality and I would not recommend.
The leaves this tea is manufactured from are not fresh, hence the dull green colour of the powder. It told me, without even trying it, that the taste would be bland and lifeless.
In all, a very expensive tea, there are are far more superior products on the market for less money. Next time you want to buy some Matcha powder look for a vibrant fresh bright green powder. Not this tired green sawdust.
I think Tea Pigs should leave the Matcha production to the specialists and carry on with their silk bagged designer teas.
Looked nothing like the so called Bright Pea Green.
Color very very dull.
Lots of these GT seem as if all come from same source and then everyone just stick their own labels on.
All operate by ring pull and seem identical to so many other websites, prices very labile depending who you go to.
I get the impression, companies charge what they can get away with. This company are one of the dearest.
Is their quality any better from others 1/3 cheaper
Sorry but no

Best tea I have bought. It's nicest tasting green tea and I'm sure has helped my health while recovering from Chemotherapy. It's expensive but worth every penny. Read morePublished 9 months ago by Hannah meredith
