I was recommended this book by a chap I met at the North Penge Masonic Lodge monthly karaoke night. At under 50p a page, it's a real bargain. Following its advice I have now registered myself as a limited company with head offices in Uzbekistan. In future, all correspondence to myself or Mrs Daz should be addressed to World of Daz, flat 13, 22 Ulitsa Lenina, Chassodomskaya, Uzbekistan.

Whilst this book obviously works on a corporate level (I'm looking at you Amazon), I wonder if I buy this, will I be paying tax at UK rate but this tax is not actually being passed on to the UK coffers? An interesting moral conundrum which I hope the author considers.

No I haven't bought this book from Amazon, no I haven't read it, no I don't intend reading it. But it is hghly significant that the company from whom I am not buying anything this Christmas should be selling this. (I was thinking of sending a copy to Starbucks even though they, unlike Amazon, have made a poorly misjudged and mistimed offer to pay some tax - at least one better than AMAZON.)

Here's the trick. First, and this is very important, get some really sharp legal types (believe it or not there's a few out there if you know which rocks to turn over). These guys will help you find loop-holes in the tax system of the economy you wish to exploit (sorry, I mean operate in), and are a stone bargain at a couple of million quid a pop - hey they'll even help you write it off! Second get yourself a good P.R outfit who will spread the word that you're "changing the face of retailing" and are helping "the little guy". Now you can really go to town. Charge all in-house expenses at exorbitant rates, but farmed out to offshore branches, paying little or no tax. Make everything look like a loss on paper and before you know it you will have put your competition (square-dealing, tax-paying dinosaurs) to the sword. Then when you've got a monopoly position in the market, charge what you like. God,I love tHis business!
