Product Description

Insight goes walkabout! The "Insight Regional Guide to Tasmania" provides lively and entertaining writing which conveys Tasmania's vibrant history from its origins as a penal colony at Port Arthur to the abundant wildlife and fauna that can be found at Freycinet National Park. In this island half the size of England (but with a tiny fraction of the population) there are lakes, mountains, an abundance of ancient rainforest, beaches, surf and elegant towns and villages; and this guide will ensure you get the absolute best out of your trip to Tasmania. It also comes with a free Touring Map which highlights the best drives in the region.

This one is also out of print so bought a second hand edition from Amazon market place. This was pretty clean so was probably stock not sold and withdrawn. The normal Insight guide. Useful guide if just going to Tasmania and like the Insight layout and colour reproduction. These aren't as detailed as Rough Guides or LP, but provide a coffee table type of guide book.

Informative, helpful, easy to use. Just what I hoped it would be.
