HASH(0x99c8fb78) out of 5 stars The Falklands war in photos 10 May 2014
By Scor-p - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
I purchased this book because I have always had in interest in the Falklands War. I read the previous review and decided to give the book a chance anyways. I am so glad I did because it is quite a nice book. As far as maps go, I do not know what you expect from this book, but the maps were better and more detailed than other book I have seen on the subject. The photos are magnificent and as far as "the overclaims" go, that is not a big concern. The book is published in Great Britain, so deal with it. What they accomplished and overcame is remarkable. The book is a great addition to my collection and well worth the small amount I paid for it. If you and interested in this subject, get this book, you will not be disappointed.

HASH(0x99f76d5c) out of 5 stars Not unpleasant to read. 17 Aug. 2007
By Erik - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Positive about the book is the number of pictures and also the descripton of the planned SAS mission 'Mikado'. The war is covered well, but the book contains a lot of errors and overclaims. And unfortunately the number of maps is unsufficient.
