I was just browsing for some more Tarot books and I saw this book, the price was quite reasonable and thinking of the size, I thought it would a great source to carry around, it would like a small encyclopedia, it would be either a hit or a miss, For me it is a hit, as it is like a small encyclopedia and it is illustrated with several tarot decks, Including Aleister Crowley Thoth, Rider Waite Smith, Morgan Greener, Golden Dawn, JJ Swiss Tarot, Kier, Marseille's & The Papus Tarot, so if you are Tarot Fan you may find new and interesting decks to add to your collection, It is different and unique, It covers all the cards in number order all 4's, 4 Aces, 4 Pages, 4 Queens etc, There are few spread examples which is pretty much useful. It is a great source to learn tarot quickly for beginners, for the others it is the extra vitamin support to take to be much better.

The plain cover not withstanding, inside this is a very attractive Tarot book. Small and compact it fits is a handbag and makes a handy reference guide, or something to back to over and over again. Contains everything (just about) you need to know about the tarot with interpretations for all 78 cards. Illustrated with several tarot decks including the Universal Waite, Morgan Greer, Thoth and Golden Dawn Tarots.

This book is very good for a beginner of Tarot reading.
It focuses a lot on the peripheral issues of the Tarot- personalisation rituals, influences of numerolgy and of course the cards themselves.
Its handy small size means that it's portable and you can store it with your cards. The meanings of the cards are thoroughly explored in a logical manner. The explanations are easy to understand, and it is easy to find information.
The only draw-back is that the Major Arcana cards are set out by card atmosphere. It is difficult to find the major arcana card you need quickly.

A good little hand book for reference. It covers all the cards in number order eg. all the three's, all the fours etc. It gives you a history of the cards and several different spreads to use and it uses several different packs of tarot for the illustration. Case studies are listed at the back. Nice and easy to understand, and colourful. I recommend it for everyone, whether learning or experienced. It will have something of interest for you.
