What a great idea - linking play/games with each of the 78 ('traditional') Tarot cards, at first glance just playing but actually and cleverly leading you into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with each member/personality of your deck(s) - this is a book some will perhaps either love or hate, depending upon mindset vis a vis Tarot (ie. the 'Tarot purist', whatever that really means, may pooh-pooh the content) BUT I personally have no problem adding it to my extensive Tarot book and deck collection and have no reluctance to share it with clients - the Universe works in mysterious ways to help seekers on the path of discovery. Money well spent! I am a regular customer of this lady's excellent website, also - Tarotchest.

this book is really fun when combined with your tarots. not only helps you to practice, to learn your cards but it helps you to think, to use what's inside your skull. we all been pushed memorising not actually learning, with this book it helps you to think to learn. learn tarot truly. it asks you if the death card have a sytche on his hand? and it asks you just write it down don't cheat you might be right or wrong right. this is not a study book or this is not an instruction book. this is an exercise book which will help you to be a better reader with loads of fun ways. you won't get bored even if you are a fidgety even if you have an Aspergers syndrome. i totally recommend this book.

There are 78 different activities, all given on a page or two, some longer to do than other but all are interesting and enjoyable which has been been written in a chatty non-formal way. If you need to get to know your deck/s most will help but I've found I'm using them just for the sake of playing with my cards. Recommended as a learning tool but also for the games.

I would say this is quite a fun book. There are lots of different exercises and games to allow you to play with your tarot cards. The book was not quite what I expected as I wanted a more in depth teaching book, but as the title suggests its novel and will get you on the road to knowing your tarot cards.
