Davina's writing is clean, simple and encouraging, making interpreting the cards and associated threads an uplifting experience.
For me, her book acts as a tool for a journey towards insight, awareness and growth which feels empowering. She somehow seems to make reading and understanding the Tarot accessible to all and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in reading the Tarot either for themselves or others.
The layout is easy to follow and the brief synopsis of the suits informative and appreciated.
I am very much looking forward to having a copy of her next book, should she write one, on the minor arcana to complement my learning journey.

The additional resources included in the book with the snapshot of the Major Arcana meanings are very helpful and so is the High Priestess audio meditation!
I would highly recommend this book to the novice and the advanced Tarot enthusiasts as it is an "all in".
I wouldn't say it surprised me at any point, having read a lot on the subject. But it does get the point through, and some times (few indeed) it did offer some insight, probably through the personal experiences of the author. Still, a read that won't take up much of your time, and that might well prove handy if you're a beginner.
Often these books can delve into other areas becoming confusing this is just what it says it is. Wonderful!
