The first theme is the shaman's three worlds and the reflections of such a structure, to some degree, in Taoist and Kabbala writings.
Even so, I learned some things that I did not know. I did not appreciate the difference between Hebrew Kabbalah and what the author calls western Kabbalah (late Victorian and early 20th C British Golden Dawn and Alister Crowley stuff. I have never been a fan of the crawly Crowley stuff, but perhaps I should try a book by him after all.
This book did rekindle my interest in Kabbalah, and I used the bibliography to advantage.
Read this book closely. You wont be disapointed
I do not know why the other reviews here are lack luster. Also Mantak Chia wrote the foreword to this book. The person below is masquerading.
