What a brilliant 'short story' from Sherrie Hewson, only it was too 'quick a read' I really wanted more. She has a real talent for short story writing(or maybe even longer - who knows???).This book gripped me from the first page and I loved that about it.You really get the sense that you are there, especially with the discription of the smells and feelings etc. Perhaps there will be a continuation to the story of Dolly another time, I really hope so,but if not maybe Sherrie has other characters in her head she can 'bring to life',but I only hope she doesn't give up the 'day job' to do it as she's a very funny lady!!!

If this was her first book, I look forward to reading the next one. It was funny, sad, a very good book, I don't normally read this sort of story. I like thrillers and horror, but because I have seen her on tv I thought I would give it a go. Glad I did

Sherrie Hewson is a natural for short-story writing - her book is full of character, and definitely a 'quick-read' - found I couldn't put it down once I had started, so was able to fit it into my day easily - bring on some more Sherrie

Thank goodness this was a quick read. What utter rubbish. Why some of these books get printed I will never know.

This book would make a wonderful TV play. When I read the pre-publication copy of the text I laughed and cried. It deserves to be in the best seller list.
