For the price this is really poor - I really dont understand the high review on the site. Mesh is not securely attached to sides of sieve, first use in passing mashed potatoes through this resulted in some of the mesh pulling away from the sides. Suggest you avoid this one.

This was a gift for my Son who had been after one of these for a while. We were surprised just how large this thing was.
It came well packaged and undamaged as a consequence but in line with other reviewers' comments, there are a few sharp edges noticeable and it is quite difficult to extract and install the different mesh rings.
I'm interested to see how durable it turns out once it's been given a thorough testing.
I think there were other cheaper products on Amazon which would in hindsight have been more suitable but ....

not to be used for heavier-duty items, e.g. potato puree or chutneys - the mesh will tear from edges within a matter of days

One of those items you buy and then wonder how you managed before!
Best Blini's I have every made. Once used for Mash you never go back
to the old method. I also use to liquidise berries for my coulis.

Saw Monica Galletti use one of these on masterchef the professionals. It look like fun but some things are hard work to push through but great for mash and I have used for salmon mousse both great

Concept, sound. Execution, fail. The drum arrived out of shape, even when pulled into place the sieves are not held in place with sufficient force to do the job in my opinion. Back to the potato ricer for me.

Came bent. Had gaps on the edges when I put the sieve in. Attempted to bend it back but its still not 100%. Pretty shoddy really for the price. Ive worked in kitchens with better tamis's that were half the price.
