From the Back Cover

I'm on the celebrity train of life, chugging back to Dother Hall, the theater of dreams. Once more getting ready to fill my tights!

It's time for an encore! Tallulah is determined to finally show the world she's a true star of the stage!

Out of the spotlight, Tallulah's life is filled with just as much drama. She's trying her best to keep her accidental snog-session with Cain a secret, but everyone is getting suspicious that she's hiding something. And while she begins to think that maybe Cain's not so bad after all, she also continues to wonder about unavailable Charlie and dreamy Alex. Who would make the perfect leading man?

Louise Rennison proves the show must go on, as she sends Tallulah and her mates on another high-spirited, madcap comedy of errors. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

(Reviewed by my daughter)

This story is the third book of the Talluah Casey triology! In this book Tallulah and Charlie are friends again, but is that all they will ever be? Phil has returned to Woolfe and him and Jo are happy again. Jack and Vaisey are happy too! Flossie has her sights set on Seth Hinchcliff and will Cain and Tallulah's secret be revealed?

With all her friends happy, Tallulah wants to be happy too but will she be? Find out in my favourite Tallulah Casey book! Overall, I think this is an amazing book and I highly recommend it to Louise Rennison fans. Also the other books in the Talluah Casey triology.

I absolutely adore Louise Rennison! I loved her Georgia Nicolson books so much and when I started reading the Talullah Casey series it was always in the back of my mind that Talullah was just not quite as funny and mad as her cousin, Georgia. And then I read The Taming of the Tights the third book by Louise Rennison in the Tallulah Casey and you know what? I've completely changed my mind. I'll always have a soft spot for Georgia, but my heart now belongs to Tallulah!

The thing that gets to me the most about Tallulah is how much crap she gets from everyone around her. One particular teacher at school, the village girls, even the man who runs the pub next to where she lives doesn't go easy on the poor girl. And throughout it all Tallulah hods her head up high and carries on. She does crazy owl raps and gallops about like a horse in front of everyone and does weird Irish dancing and puts up with the name calling and the glare-y looks and the incessant insults and people laughing at her. And while 90% of this book is absolutely laugh-out-loud funny, there are still moments where my heart absolutely breaks for the treatment that Tallulah receives from those around her and those moments are the ones in which I feel the most connected to her. I want to give her a big hug and I want everything to work out for her.

Because I do really adore Tallulah. I love her friendships with the other Tree Sisters and especially her relationship with Ruby (who is one of the funniest characters in the book!). I love how bizarre her world is, with the Dobbins and everything else and she just carries on like nothing is out of the ordinary!

I bought this book for my 13 year old daughter to take on her holidays. She is an avid reader and she couldn't put the book down, she laughed all the way through it ( that has got to be good news for all concerned, if you have a 13 year old you'll know what I'm talking about!!!) however she had read it during a 6 hour flight, so could have done with been a longer book. anyway she did have another 3 more to read on her holidays, which I might add she did.

Louise Rennison. You are a LEGEND!!!
I think I have laughed more with your books than with any other author. My daughters ( now aged 28 and 24 respectively) have grown up adoring Georgia and her pals, and we are now doing the same with Tallulah. I was also delighted to find "Georgia" had written an introduction to a copy of "Little Women" I bought in Oxfam!

The taming of the tights is the most hilarious book series I have ever read. Tallulah Casey puts everything as ten to fifteen year old feels in a really funny way.all her friends have different personalities so every girl is able to relate to someone. I waited a long time for this book and the wait was definitely worth while.I hope Louise Rennison continues to writemany books in this series
