The build up was great. The characters fun and all was fun until the battle, it all seemed to rush from the point of the conversion.it was slow to build so the sudden change of pace did not suit. I expected the relationship to develop further, not just conclude on a m/m/f relationship...what about the development. This is not a soft woman and these are supposed to be warriors. Surely she does not just bend? Why introduce a son and daughter if it ends there...another money maker series with a good book sliced and diced. It feels like it.

There’s quite a complicated backstory behind Tameable and it would have been nice if large amount of exposition needed to explain it could have been handled with a bit more finesse. At one point the heroine compares what’s happening to being like something out of Doctor Who. Perhaps Kingsley should have used that show to get some ideas about how to quickly explain complicated alien cultures. The Doctor’s always having to do that. Although the plot isn’t particularly well handled, a lot of the sex scenes are depicted very well. Having two men on hand to pleasure her (whether she wants it or not) provides our heroine with plenty of interesting scenarios. The spanking and sex is nicely done – it would have been nice if the characterisation and plot had felt a bit more convincing.

2.0 out of 5 stars REALLY NEEDS HELP - MAYBE A CREATIVE WRITING COURSE ALONG WITH A GOOD EDITOR? 15 April 2014
By Rare Reviewer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
If you get turned on just by words describing a sex act – then this book could actually be for you. While it did have some sex acts described – they weren’t really that erotic – more just the mechanics of the act. There was nothing to bring the reader into the story – to care about the characters – to feel the heat because:

The dialog was juvenile and stilted. Writing dialog in without first thinking about how it would actually sound coming out of someone’s mouth just results in characters and actions so unrealistic that a reader cringes or really wants to throw the reading device at the wall.

The writing style was choppy and lacked a smooth transition from one event/action to the next.

Not very imaginative with a female protagonist that has too many TSTL moments. Use some creativity to get your protagonist in the scene that you are setting up – do not dumb your character down so that you can set up a contrived scene. It’s not just getting your character from point A to point B – it’s HOW the character gets from one point to the other in a REALISTIC manner.

The book came off as a rough outline of an idea without the knowledge or experience to bring the characters or actions to life for the reader.

This was definitely and quickly “return to Amazon” moment. If the author wants to keep trying – she need to invest in some creative writing classes, and maybe read some really good books in this field such as the PETS series by Darla Phelps.

4.0 out of 5 stars DD, Age play, Medical play, Anal, BDSM, Sci-Fi and Menage! 27 April 2014
By Redrabbitt - Published on Amazon.com

Note: Domestic Discipline; Age Play; Medical Play; Anal; Enema; BDSM and Sci-Fi with Alien Race in Ménage setting!

Overall this is a very interesting story with a great concept. We have twin brothers, Roman and Julian, of the Trian race that are guarding and eventually claiming as a mate, Hybrid Trian, Amanda, a divorcee, who is a writer and determined to claim her independence. Apparently there is another species who wants to claim, rape, enslave and destroy Amanda and her daughter, the Saipiean warriors. It is imperative for the Trians to protect their women, and in this gated cul-de-sac it is all Trian men guarding and protecting their women. They know that Amanda is a hybrid from a Trian father and human mother. They invade her house, spank her, then take her home with them. At first Roman and Julian are willing to fight to the death to claim her but she convinces them that she can mate and be with both of them.

For the story line I give it a 5 but this book needs re-edited, several times the words were not in correct order and near the end one line reads: He was riding me like a mounted thoroughbred house he was breaking in to a saddle. Because of the lack of editing, that gets a 3, so overall I will give it only 4 stars.

3.0 out of 5 stars Something For Everyone 3 May 2014
By Lauralei - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This book has something for everyone. You name it and it appears to be incorporated in the story. Amanda and her daughter moved into a new home a week ago and while her daughter is staying at the ex's house, Amanda meets her neighbor Roman who is a Trian male. Roman has a twin brother named Julian. It turns out that Amanda is a Trian hybrid and not only will she be going through a conversion soon but a bad Saipiean male also wants to mate with her. Roman and Julian wanting to keep Amanda safe take her to Roman's home where they then proceed to show her what being a Trian female means while protecting her from the baddies.

I liked this book but found it to be too long winded in some places and I would have liked it more if it had been longer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun read! 22 April 2014
By Sarah - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This was a fun short story! I loved the sci-fi elements in the story. It was a great blend of romance and sci-fi, without being too much sci-fi. This story was about Amanda and her mates Roman and Julian. Roman and Julian are Trian warriors and are protecting Amanda from other alien races. Sometimes their protection includes elements of age play. Roman and Julian were both fierce and sweet, I loved them! One drawback is that I wish it was been a little longer. Also, I am hoping that this is the start of a series about the Trian warriors.
3.0 out of 5 stars Aliens, ageplay, domestic discipline, oh my! 7 Jun. 2014
By La Crimson Femme - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Alien are not for real, are they? They are little green men with big heads and asexual bodies, right? Amanda learns different when aliens are real and they aren't tiny green androgynous beings. Instead, they are sword wielding warriors with a penchant for spanking disobedient females.

In this sci-fi fantasy, these alpha men practice domestic discipline. Twins Roman and Julian fight for the right to be Amanda's mate. Amanda's unknown past is uncovered when she moves to a new community where every man seems to be a model. Their caveman antics shouldn't impress nor arouse, yet it does.

Ms. Kingsley pens a cute story which tries to incorporate a little too much in a short period of time. It is possible to bring ménage, aliens and domestic discipline all into one cohesive story. This one falls a bit short because it feels rushed. The different plot devices and thrown together with little character or world building. Much of the story is telling rather than showing. To also throw in a bit of ageplay just makes the story more disjointed. It feels as if each piece doesn't get a fair share in the story which leaves the reader a bit unsatisfied. Still, it's a fun little read to give people a little taste of Ms. Kingsley. This sci-fi fantasy is recommended to ménage lover who favour domestic discipline.
