I have enjoyed all three of the stories in here. They all link in nicely and you get a progression of the characters throughout the books. The first book is about Royce Walker who is in the security/protection business with his two brothers. He falls in love with Lauren who is a lawyer and daughter of a politician in need of protection. Royce is that tall handsome man that you could just imagine taking care of you. A good well written story, contains sex scenes, and a good interesting criminal storyline.
The second book involves another of the Walker brothers and Lauren's(Book 1 ) best friend Julie, the story line continues whilst the characters from book 1 are on their honeymoon, and also involves a criminal element to its storyline. The hero of this hour is Luke an ex navy seal who has long had hots for Julie and vice versa and his role is protecting Julie from the bad guys.
THe third book is not as you would imagine the third brother but infact one of the other characters in the background of the other stories. Lindsey is an fbi agent currently on leave whilst her ailing father is receiveing cancer treatment. The father is a lawyer and ceo of PAxton and wants Lindsey to take over the firm. Not what Lindsay wants, she wants Mark to take over the firm. Mark used to be in the firm until a disagreement with her father drives him away. Lindsay strikes a deal with Mark to get him to help her with the firm. Lindsey and Mark then work on a case of serial rapist/murderer who targets Lindsey look alikes!
Really good 3 in 1 book. One of those that I didn't want to put down. A good strong criminal element alongside a romantic storyline. Well written.
A book of three stories, three brothers but these three books are not about three brothers in relationships two are, two that are exactly the same as each other and a third that as reference to one of the brothers in the first book. I'm not really in to cops and robbers type of books but I thought I'd have a try. At first it went well, liked it (book one) then weird things kept happening to the female character and she had to be rescued by the male character and his brothers (hence why the books are about brothers) but it was so unreal, you would have to read it again to understand if you have missed a bit and the second book was just the same as the first. What I don't understand is why they didn't have the third book being about the third brother?. It was rushed all three books felt like they were rushed. This could have been such a good trilogy but I'm still confused. One star for each book.
Having bought and to my amazement read the box set, all I can say is that this is the same story re-written with diffenrent names and a slightly different "baddie".
The idea of each story is reasonably good. We have the strong, handsome, sexy and cherishing hero. Each of the heroines is classy and well educated and in a good job. All have someone trying to kill or attack them and here comes our hero to the rescue. All a bit M & B but nevertheless readable and enjoyable.
I would have given it four stars had it not been for the style of writing. The author definitely likes long sentences (I counted 53 words in one) making the subject change half way through. She also goes into long prose between a question and its answer so that you forget what the question was in the first place.
I would still recommend as a light read if you are not bothered about grammar.
I really got into this thinking it was a trilogy about the same thing as most trilogy box sets are but it's not. The first 2 are about 2 of the brothers an the third one you would think would be about the 3rd brother but it is not it is about a different couple, even though Royce is mentioned it does not relate to the first two books at all as Royce is happily single in the third book so obviously has not met Lauren yet. I did enjoy the stories but would of preferred the complete set about all 3 brothers as there is definitely a story there but I guess i will have to wait and see.
Loved the romance and loved the whole serial killer hunt too! A complete page turner from the first chapter! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the spelling and grammar mistakes got really annoying in the end! However don't let this put you off it was a great read and had depth in the plot not like those other romances that have cheesy stories to fill the gaps between the bedroom chapters ! The ending was ok a little rushed in my opinion but Lindsey got the killer instead of getting killed and she also got her man!You will not be disappointed!
It didn't have the best of writing styles, but considering the price, the stories were intriguing and kept me interested. I think personally the second story in the trilogy was the most interesting and the last was the most dull. At times elements of the stories felt repetitive (main characters basically feeling the exact same about their body for example e.g. mine is ugly, her's is pretty, while the other person is thinking yours is stunning). Additionally, if you are reading this for some detailed erotica, it's pretty tame, the sex scenes are short and brief.
This has been a great series. couldnt believe i only paid 77p for the set of 3 books. Each story is a story on its own merit, but it involves 3 brothers who run a security agency, each one meets the girl they were ment for. However the girls all get themselves into dangerous situations through no fault of their own,but each has a person or persons out to get rid of them. The books are written with the intention to have you suspecting more than one culprit, and i certainly did not guess who the real cuprit was untill the end. Brilliant
