Format: Hardcover
The cover of this very worthy book tells us that we will have "all the ammo(?) you need to settle any argument" which does the book a huge disservice. This isn't merely a book of facts and bullet-pointed lists; it is a highly entertaining read from contributors that truly know the game. For one it is superbly researched and offers up countless anecdotes and new angles that make this book so extraordinary. It is also very readable with writing that is original and humorous and will resonate with anyone that truly loves the beautiful game. This was money well spent and 'World Cup Banter' rises above the ordinary and belies its bland title.
