A strange if not very unique experimental film that has to be seen to be believed
on 19 July 2016 - Published on Amazon.com
Ok, so if your reading this then congratulations! You have just stumbled into one of the strangest films ever made(or at least that I have seen). The story of this movie revolves around a director who is tasked with completing an unfinished animated movie and along the way try to figure out what happened to the original director who had been working on it. This movies setting and tone are very surreal, and for lack of better words, just plain weird. This whole movie feels like it was written while the writers were on high hallucinogenic drugs or something. I mean there are just so many strange and bizzar scenes in this movie that you just have to see to believe. But none of it is without meaning however. Most of the events in this film have very deep and symbolic meanings to them(at least, I assume. I'm not the most artsy kind of guy). In fact, this whole movie is essentially a deconstruction of what goes in to directing an animated film on a deep psychological level. But like I said, there are some REALLY strange moments in this movie, almost as if the movie is aware of itself. Even if you don't understand all the deep symbolism and metaphors in this film, it can still be entertaining on account of just how crazy it can seem at times. This is defiantly not your typical kind of movie and is more of an experimental film if anything. If your any kind of film buff or studying different kinds of film styles, then I do recommend this movie as it is very different from anything else I have ever seen before. My one big complaint with this movie is that the pacing can be really slow at times(just don't be expecting any kind of fast pacedaction movie or anything like that) and like I said, the symbolism can be hard to follow at times, so this movie is defiantly not for everyone. The ending is also rather disappointing to say the least. Overall, if your willing to put up with a really slow paced movie with sequences that are so surreal and strange that they make you question just what the heck am are you watching, then go ahead and check this movie out. If you want to watch a normal, more straight forward film, then stay as far away from this as possible!

Hard to describe

This is a must see for true film buffs. The pacing can be a bit laborious at times but there are many intellectual treasures to be found here. The ending leaves a lot to be desired but the film is nonetheless thought provoking overall and takes quite a few risks in the way it tells its story. If the pace had been tighter and the ending not so predictable I might have given it a much higher rating. For all its flaws it has some brilliant ideas.

That's a typo up there. This movie has NOTHING to do with Kieslowski (who made a 30 min. Polish film entitled "Talking Heads." ANyhow, DONT BUY THIS because you think it has anything to do with Kieslowski!!! It does not.
