I absolutely loved this book. It is a beautifully written story and it is so easy to warm to the characters. It's not like a thriller that you just can't put down but it is compelling and I felt myself drawn to it, wanting to journey with Tim at every opportunity I had. What I love the most is the way the book makes me feel while reading it, how it stays with me after I have put it to the side and how it makes me think.
It is intriguing, inspiring and full of hope and it has given me so much more than "just a good story" does if that makes sense. It has awaken my mind and opened it up to new ways of thinking, new ideas and new beginnings. It makes me happy and i am full of anticipation for the next book about Tim Hurtletuta.

Matthew James Wilkin's first novel begins as we follow a young man's spiritual awakening from a soporific society.
This is an insightful, uplifting tale with an engaging narrative, veering from the hilarious to the heartbreaking. The main character is well-developed, easy to identify with and very likable.
This novel comes highly recommended and promises great things for the subsequent sequels.

This story is exactly what the doctor ordered. It opens up the mind to the possibility that your life could be different and, in the way of this genre of spiritual storytelling, it leaves you in no doubt about the illusions around which we construct our lives. If you liked Jonathan Livingstone Seagull or Hesse's Siddhartha, then you'll love this book. The writing is clear, the use of language precise and the character endearing. A real kindle gem.

Normally i am a little cynical about any airy fairy, new age hippy, self help type books. However after reading this book i felt i had connected with tim's improved outlook on life. Well written and and of course leaves room for a sequel as the author is in his thirties so bound to be more experiences worth sharing.

Loved this book! It reminded me to open my eyes every day, and to look at myself and who I want to be. Tim Hurtletuta begins as a man lost and unhappy, and through a series of events begins to unravel a character within himself, working on becoming a better person with a positive outlook. The book is a pleasure to read and very visual, teaching us lessons in life at the same time. Looking forward to the next one!
